Designed
by award-winning Australian architects, Denton Corker &
Marshall, with interior design by Hirsch Bedner &
Associates, Hong Kong, the Furama Resort enjoys a stunning
beachfront location on one of Vietnam’s finest beaches,
fringed by natural pines and coconut palms. The 198 guest
rooms and suites occupy two four-storey wings overlooking the
ocean on one side and a freshwater swimming lagoon and
manicured tropical gardens on the others.
The
main lobby, function rooms, restaurants, bars and service
areas occupy several two and three-storey pavilions
surrounding a spacious courtyard. The restaurants and
lounges are open and airy with polished timber or natural
stone floors that offset the cool natural fabrics and cane
furnishings. Vietnamese artifacts and furniture enhance the
colonial setting to create the resort’s distinctive Asian
character.
The
design of the resort pays tribute to the historical, cultural
and architectural uniqueness of Vietnam. Characteristic
Vietnamese red-tiled roofs rise just above the natural pine
trees, and abundant local building materials such as teakwood
have been used wherever possible.

Furama Resort Danang as “Asia’s Best Resort Hotel”, it

Guests can enjoy a wonderful variety of Asian and
international cuisines in romantic settings that take full

Café
Indochine
This
is the Furama’s signature restaurant, an Asian-style
brassiere recalling the nostalgia of the French colonial
period with its rattan furniture, ceiling fans, French windows
and old photographs and memorabilia on the walls. By
day, it is a bright, cheerful place for light snacks, while at
night it turns more romantic and features Vietnamese cultural
performances. Guests can savour a wide range of
international and pan-Asian cuisines served by waitresses in
traditional ao dai outfits. There is an exotic menu of
Vietnamese, Chinese, Malay, Thai, Indian and Indonesian
favourites prepared in the open show kitchens or over the
barbecue.
The
Lagoon Bar
Located
beside the Lagoon Pool, The Lagoon Bar is a lush, tropical
oasis for colorful cocktails, long drinks and light snacks.
Ocean
Terrace
The Ocean Terrace - Overlooking the white sands of
China Beach, this casual restaurant provides a peaceful,
poolside setting for al fresco dining. A
Mediterranean-inspired menu offers garden fresh salads,
Italian appetisers, delicious pastas, and crisp pizzas and
Italian breads baked in wood-fired ovens. A fine
selection of Italian wines and Grappas are also available.

Van Lounge
Guests
enjoy cocktails and light snacks in a very relaxed colonial
setting decorated with cane chairs and carved Vietnamese
furniture. A pianist entertains in the evenings. Free

The Ocean Room is located on the upper level of the
main pavilion. It can accommodate receptions of up to 450
people, with table set-up dining for up to 300 people and
seminars for up to 220 people.
